Remember Yesterday, Live for Today, Dream for Tomorrow

On May 25, 2010 a chapter of my life ended, and a new chapter started. Don't get me wrong, I'm excited to be graduated, but this is a big change! Tears filled my eyes as I sat in the choir looking out at several hundred people I would probably never see again switch our tassels over our caps. Memories flooded my mind. From falling down stairs on the way to class, to Disneyland trips, to good times swiveling our hips down the halls. Life is changing, we're all growing, and going our seperate ways. It's a scary time with friends leaving on missions, getting married (yes I know people getting married already!), and leaving for college. However, it is time to move on. The pages of this chapter have been worn and torn with hard times, but kept in tact by the glue I call friends and family, but most of all My Heavenly Father who continues to bless me and show me the light in life. I thank all of you friends and family for your prayers, advice, comfort, and love over the past years. You are what keeps me going, and I continue to see that each day given me is blessed by your presence. I decided a while ago that I would run for Skills USA state office again. My excuse was that after graduation I needed one constant in my life. I failed to see that the only constant I need is at home. It's in my heart where all of you are. I love you and Thank You!

This is our Acapella choir, which I was a part of. We had 136 members, and you can see how many were seniors!

All Graduates ready to be done

I "bejeweled" the back of my cap so everyone would know it was me

Mom got me 12 roses. She handed them to me crying and told me that each one was for each year I'd spent in school and that she was proud of me. Obviously I was a crying wreck after that!

It was all sinking in

I'm lovin life! I am currently trying to pursue my dreams of becoming a nurse and trying to get into the program. To keep those dreams alive I work two jobs and come home to an awesome family & friends that know just when I need a break. My story is just beginning, but the pages ahead are filling up quickly!
